Styrolution increases prices for specialty products in EMEA

Frankfurt, Germany – March 31, 2014 – Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, today announced that effective April 1, 2014, or as existing contracts permit, it will increase its European sales prices for specialties as follows:
- Luran S (ASA) +80 euros per metric ton
- Luran SC (ASA/PC) +80 euros per metric ton
- Novodur (ABS) +80 euros per metric ton
- Terblend N (ABS/PA, ASA/PA) +50 euros per metric ton
- Luran (SAN) +50 euros per metric ton
- Luran HH (AMSAN) +80 euros per metric ton
or by the equivalent amounts in local currency.
Throughout the first quarter of 2014, Styrolution has absorbed increased raw material costs for almost all of its product lines. The price adjustments are necessary to reflect these developments and to ensure feedstock availability in the second quarter.
