INEOS Styrolution has donated face shields to frontline healthcare workers in COVID-19, hard-hit regions across the US. The company’s regional, Americas headquarters, located in Aurora, Illinois issued additional community support with a $10,000 donation to local Chicago-area food banks.

INEOS Styrolution delivered protective face shields to frontline healthcare workers across the US. Working to source supplies through their customer, Primex, the urgently needed personal protection equipment delivered to hospitals in New York City, Chicago and surrounding suburbs, and the hard-hit Navajo Nation community, within Arizona.

Carina Johannessen, Registered Nurse (RN) at the Edward Hospital emergency room, stated:

The community support is so very appreciated by us all. It is a difficult time for the frontlines and knowing that our local companies have our backs (and our faces) means so much to us. Not only does it protect us, it provides peace of mind while we work.”

During this time of crisis, food banks are facing unprecedented demand within their communities. The INEOS Styrolution Aurora, Illinois headquarters, donated $10,000 to the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Northern Illinois Food Bank, in support of their neighbours in need.
